El Pan de la Chola is a contemporary artisanal bakery that beguiles us with its focus on natural fermentation and local ingredients. What started as a personal desire to enjoy good bread at home later became a very basic bakery serving bread and coffee. With time, hard work, and excellent ingredients, several lively, welcoming locations opened their doors in San Isidro, Miraflores, and La Molina, giving customers a front-row seat from which to watch the bakers at work and catch a glimpse of the effort that goes into every bite.
Their goal, as they so perfectly phrase it, is to “be Lima’s urban refuge. An inspiration and a meet-up spot, a space to relax or work, with a friendly atmosphere that welcomes customers with its aromas, flavors, sounds, and ambiance.” Mission accomplished! From a variety of hearty breakfasts served with aromatic coffees from Cusco and Cajamarca in the morning, to pastas, salads, pizzas, and more, all prepared with fresh, natural ingredients of the highest quality in an inviting atmosphere that is sure to whet your appetite and warm your heart.
