“Being a bartender is my life,” says Ángel Solórzano, the charismatic chief bartender at Rafael, who has been in the business for fourteen years with many a cocktail competition award to show for it. “Day in and day out, watching people enjoy the experiences my team and I are able to transmit is true happiness,” he says, adding that he chose his career as bartender so he could spread joy through cocktails. Solórzano is a creator of bar concepts, from the design of the bar top to staff training and the cocktail list. A true maestro.
