The Ica Valley is home to Peru’s first enotourism hub, a magical place where a passion for wine is blended with the region’s cultural and natural riches. The space brings together the three crucial components of wine tourism: vineyard, winery, and restaurant. The latter stands out for a variety of regional dishes such as the traditional carapulcra con sopa seca, the José Antonio pork adobo, and the picante de pallares with beef tenderloin, all perfectly married with a vast selection of the house’s own wines.

intipalka

Located in the heart of the Viñas Queirolo vineyards, El Intipalka offers a singular culinary experience rooted in traditional flavors and local ingredients, all in an atmosphere with striking views of the grape crops. Favorites here include the classic corvina ceviche; the carapulcra with three different meats, served with sopa seca; or the traditional Ica-style Lima bean salad. The desserts are notable in their own right, with pecan pie and the traditional crema volteada (Peruvian-style flan) topping the list.

intimar

As its name suggests, this restaurant on Paracas Bay is closely intertwined with the sea and its offerings. Here, fresh seasonal seafood is combined with mainly Peruvian ingredients, although other inspirations from around the world can be found. There is a wide variety of dishes, with special mention going to the scallops and their exaltation of flavor, as well as the prawns and octopus. Of course, we would be remiss not to mention the sublime picante de pallares.
