Peru is a megadiverse country with a wealth of ingredients. In Cusco, the multidisciplinary team behind Mater Iniciativa has taken it upon themselves to reevaluate these products through specialized knowledge and research. The seeds sown by cuisine have grown and blossomed into something even bigger and more beautiful.

Against the green backdrop of Moray, where archaeological monuments and traditional Andean communities sit amidst stunning natural sights, we find Mater Iniciativa, a non-profit organization that has undertaken an extraordinary task: that of rediscovering the wonders of our native ingredients with the help of specialized knowledge and research.
